I don't think I've mentioned that I'm 6 weeks (of something like 30) into massage therapy school. I guess I've been a little embarrassed that it's kind of an arbitrary choice of something to pursue. I'm not really sure if I hope this becomes a career or an extra way to make money sometimes or a skill my friends appreciate. I'm doing pretty well in school though.

Tomorrow night I'm giving a little presentation on intentional community at the Mess Hall community space, and in a few weeks at the Chicago Zine Fest I'm leading a workshop on one-page zines (I did about the same workshop at the Milwaukee Fest a few months ago, but Chicago's a good bit bigger of an event). I also have a couple little articles about intentional community coming out in a couple of zines (including one tied to the event tomorrow), and I'm hopping to put together a little zine about intentional community to distribute at the Chicago Zine Fest.

I've also still been working at Marbles: The Brain Store. I've been working for our online store for a couple of months (originally I'd been working for a retail shop). I'm in school three days a week and working three days a week. I'm pretty much a shipping and receiving clerk, except my job is in some ways way better than that sounds because there are only three of us who work for the online store and my boss and coworker are great and the environment is pretty casual.

I find it pretty crazy that is almost Friday. And that it is March. And that I've been out of college for getting closer and closer to two years.

Hey, Dan! Did you know a boy named Monty at Simon's Rock? I think he just graduated last year. He seemed like he recognized your name, but then he had to run off to a meeting before I could ask him more. He's one of the prospective students visiting my department this weekend.

He is definitely a person I heard people talk about, but I can't put a face to the name and I'm not sure I ever interacted with him myself. I don't think I could ever really tell if people talking about him liked or disliked him.
