I like when authors I like put their writing online for free. I want to support that. I like Joey Comeau. You can read all of Joey Comeau's new book, Bible Camp Bloodbath, online for free. Unfortunately, I don't really like horror or violence, so it's not my favorite Joey Comeau work. I was also kind of frustrated that some of the characters and relationships I was interested in weren't developed more. But it's got some good stuff in it, and it's online for free, so I suggest you at least take a look at it.

In a new interview at QuestionRiot.com, Laird Schaub talks about intentional community. Intentional communities are groups of people living together with shared values, and they're something I'm really interested in. Laird's involved in the Fellowship for Intentional Community, a group that organizes a directory of communities and a magazine about community, so he's a great person to get a chance to talk to.

I am working on QuestionRiot.com again. There is a still a standing offer for people who want to get involved interviewing people. (I also always take suggestions for people to interview.)

The fourth issue of Concisely also came out a couple of weeks ago (ConciselyMagazine.com).

I am back in Chicago after a couple months of traveling. I am trying to get busy applying for jobs and doing some volunteer work and getting involved in other local things and writing about intentional community and making some zines and writing some fiction, among other things.

New Interview: Sarah Dopp is the founder of genderfork.com, a “a supportive community for the expression of identities across the gender spectrum,” and a place where I regularly gawk at photos I think are really cute. Sarah’s behind some other cool projects too.

Emsony Seton Interview

Jul. 1st, 2010 | 08:22 pm

I interviewed someone who spent a summer working as a professional dominatrix in a BDSM dungeon. One of the longest interviews I've done, but I found it thoroughly interesting and educational.
